For a while it was in doubt, but Jeff Bell's debut for Halifax ended with a loss.  The newly acquired QB was 7/15 with 58 yards a TD and an interception in 1 Half of work.  Tony Newpower finished the game for the Thunder, going 4/8 with 4s yards and an interception.  Lionel Lamberdini led the Thunder with another fine outing, scoring two touchdowns.  Karl Gent had the other for Halifax.  Arkansas QBs Kilano and Odgen combined to throw 5 touchdowns.  The game as close for a brief moment at the end as Newpower scrambled in from the 2.  Donne DiPietro, with 43 yards recieving was the player of th game. 

The Halifax Thunder have acquired QB Jeff bell from the Evansville Fightin' Squirrels.  Bell is expected to pose a serios threat to starter Christian St John's job.  Bell has seen very limited action this year, playing behind star QB Tom Clements in Evansville.  To make room for Bell, backup QB Americo Kojak was released.
